Michael is a career home improvement professional with over 20 years’ experience. Prior to making the career move to franchise ownership with Five Star Painting, Michael was the Managing Partner for Champion Home Exteriors in Macon and Columbus, GA. Being no stranger to start-ups, Michael quickly grew the Central Georgia Five Star Painting to a flagship location for the brand. After two years of operation, he expanded to South Metro-Atlanta and most recently Columbus, GA. Michael understands it takes a team of highly qualified employees to deliver superior customer service and quality projects. Michael is married to the Office Manager, Joy, and together they have two children (Owen and Reese). When not at work, Michael enjoys travelling, working around his home, and cheering on his alma mater – the Georgia Bulldogs.

Joy was born and raised in Georgia. After graduating from the University of Georgia, she worked in medical practices and as a preschool teacher. When the demands of her role at Five Star grew, Joy joined the team full-time. She has been married to Michael for 17 years and they have two children and two doodle doggies. Joy enjoys spending time and travelling with her family and friends. She is also an HGTV addict!

After graduating from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2007, Amy began working in the non-profit sector. Amy continued her career until she started a family with her husband, Adam. Now with two children, Kyle and Everett, she enjoys a flexible work environment at home as she coordinates all pre-project communication and scheduling with our Five Star Painting customers. When Amy is not working, she enjoys time with her family as well as doing remodeling projects at her home.

Jesse is a seasoned home improvement specialist, with 8 years in the industry. Jesse joined our team in 2016 and enjoys helping people beautify their homes and businesses. In his time off you can find him hiking or coaching his daughter’s soccer team.

Kevin has been in the home improvement industry for over 6 years. He likes meeting new people daily and making their visions become reality. Kevin is a proud father of three and an active member of the community. His hobbies include golfing and camping with his family.

Originally from Orange County, California, Gabriel moved to Georgia just before his senior year of high school. After graduation, Gabriel joined the Five Star Painting family. His father has been a painter for years and Gabriel has been eager to learn all the ins and outs of the painting industry with his colleagues here to help. While not at work, you can usually find Gabriel out with family or playing soccer.

Michael currently resides in Jones County. His family has been in the paint industry since he was a kid and he has spent a good part of his life around contracting in some form or another. He has an amazing wife, Sam, and five beautiful girls who he spends the majority of his free time with. They love to spend time outdoors or traveling when they're not working or doing one of Sam's DIY projects.

Roy grew up in a military family, so "home" was all over the world. He never spent more than 3-4 yrs in one place until he got to Georgia. He attended 4 different elementary schools, 2 different middle schools, 3 different high schools, and he says "thankfully" just 1 college. Roy's wife is a born and raised Georgia girl. They have 3 dogs (Willow, Prince and Lana) that keep them busy. Roy started off in the painting industry 5 yrs ago and enjoys helping people with their paint projects. Roy loves hockey and soccer at all levels. When not at work, you can find Roy on the fields playing in an adult soccer league or at the Macon Mayhem hockey games.

Chris grew up in Griffin and has lived there the majority of his life. He enjoys the small, friendly town. He went to the Art Institute of Atlanta where he obtained a degree as a culinary chef. Chris has the unique experience of owning restaurants, where he learned the importance of customer satisfaction. In between restaurants, Chris was also in the construction industry all his life. He's done everything from framing new homes, to roofing and siding, to electrical and plumbing, and of course- painting. Chris says he enjoys working with painting customers to make their visions become a reality. In his free time, Chris loves spending time with his wife as well as fitness related activities.
