Owner / General Manager
Dan grew up in the St. Louis area and graduated with an MBA in Business Administration from Webster University. He has spent 10 years in the construction and home improvement industry. Dan takes pride in developing a system that provides excellent customer service. Hard work, pro-active leadership, problem solving and a customer-first approach elevates Five Star Painting of St. Louis as a standout in the painting service industry. Dan says, “I’m so proud of the reputation our business has built as it relates to customer satisfaction and quality service. We constantly receive calls from new clients that say they heard about us from a friend who recommended us. Every day we are building something better and better and I truly enjoy the work.” Dan is married with two young children. He enjoys down time with his family, traveling, skiing, baseball and running. -
Julie Braning
Owner / Marketing Director
Julie grew up in St. Louis and graduated from The University of Missouri. She has been a Pediatric Nurse for over 15 years and helped Dan with the business when she could. As the company has grown, Julie has stepped in to lead the marketing and recruiting roles for Five Star. Julie and Dan have been married for 10 years and have two kids, Emma and Zack. Julie enjoys traveling, cooking and being with her family. She is also an HGTV addict! -
Adam Lovell
Estimator
Adam is a recent graduate of Webster University where he earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree. Adam was a starter and leader for Webster’s Baseball team. Throughout Adam’s time at Webster, the team was regularly ranked Top 10 in the country. While in college, Adam also worked as a crew lead for a landscaping company in St. Louis where he learned how to deliver high quality home services. Adam is very organized and detailed oriented which makes him an accurate project estimator. His customers often comment they appreciate that he makes them comfortable because he will guide them to a project that will improve their home without selling them something they don’t need. -
Kayla Wolfe
Color Consultant
Kayla runs her own interior design business, Simple Extra Touches. She guides our clients in the design and color selection process prior to the start of the project. She previously worked for Sherwin Williams in their Color Consultant role. Kayla has worked with our clients for several years. She has a passion and an eye for design that is so helpful to our customers to find the right color and plan for their home. -
David Smith
Project Manager
Dave grew up in St. Louis and returned after spending a decade traveling the world while he was in the U.S. Navy. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. As a previous manager at Sherwin Williams Dave brings his eye for color, product knowledge, and customer service skills to the table. He approaches each project with a keen eye for detail and a positive attitude. -
Haili Meyer
Project Scheduler
Haili grew up in Saint Charles, Mo. She has 15 years of customer service experience, 6 of those years she managed her own salon. Haili loves interacting with new people everyday. Haili is also a licensed cosmetologist and does photography as well. Her hobbies are traveling and spending time with her husband and two kids. -
Audrey Arend
Estimator
Audrey grew up in the Saint Louis area. Audrey has spent many years, and has extensive experience in the new construction, remodeling, and design industries. She excels in helping clients with appropriate and welcomed solutions and makes it her mission to know every customer is comfortable and satisfied throughout the process. Audrey says: 'I love to assist each and every person with their painting needs. Such a joy to be a part of the process of improving their home!' In her downtime, Audrey loves spending time with her two adult children every chance she gets. She enjoys long walks in nature and finds great joy in ever learning through world travel. -
Emily Lutker
Project Manager
Emily is from Ballwin, MO. Emily has a passion for interior design and architecture. She is known for being genuine and kind to people. She’s great at connecting with customers and seeing things from their perspective. From Emily: “I love my job at Five Star Painting, and am so happy I can help other people’s visions come to life.” Emily is getting married this October to her fiancée that she has known for many years.
