Terry is the President of Five Star Painting of Federal Way and Tacoma. He started this business with his wife, Jeanette, in 2013. Jeanette passed away in August 2022 after a long battle with a degenerative brain disease. Terry continues their mission to provide excellent service with quality products. For about seven years, Terry has been involved in the Multi-Service Center Crab Feed and Auction (now Spring into Action) and is currently a board member for Brooklake Church in Federal Way. Terry has two children and two grandchildren. He graduated from Auburn High School. He and his team have been awarded many accolades, including Best of Federal Way and Franchise of the Year.

Office Manager
Eda has been working for Five Star Painting since 2015 and is currently our Office Manager. She is married with two daughters, along with one granddaughter. She sings in her Church choir. -
Kaitlyn Hanley
Sales Support and Scheduling Associate
Kaitlyn joined our Team in February 2022 and a Sales Support Associate and now does our scheduling as well. She is currently a Cheer Coach for Auburn Mountain view High School and is involved in fundraisers related to Children's Hospital Cancer Research. -
Kurt Biggs
Residential and Commercial Estimator
Kurt joined Five Star Painting in 2013 and has held several positions with the company and is now considered one of the top leading estimators across the country. Originally from Texas, he is married and has two children. -
Lisa Johnston
Project Manager
Lisa joined Five Star Painting in 2021 with a background in Project Management. In her first year in this position, she was awarded Project Manager of the Year, chosen from all franchises across the country. -
Sam Walker
Residential Estimator
Sam joined Five Star Painting in 2018 as our Part-Time Sales Support Associate. Since then, he has moved to a Full-Time Estimator. He graduated from Auburn High School.
