Terry is the President of Five Star Painting of Federal Way and Tacoma. He started this business with his wife, Jeanette, in 2013. Jeanette passed away in August 2022 after a long battle with a degenerative brain disease. Terry continues their mission to provide excellent service with quality products. Terry has two children and two grandchildren. He graduated from Auburn High School. He and his team have been awarded many accolades, including Best of Federal Way and Franchise of the Year. In honor of his late wife, Jeanette, Five Star Painting is a proud sponsor of Northwest Battle Buddies, serving veterans with PTSD and provides service/companion dogs.

Eda has been working for Five Star Painting since 2015 and is currently our Office Manager. She is married with two daughters, along with one granddaughter. She sings in her Church choir. -

Kurt joined Five Star Painting in 2013 and has held several positions with the company and is now considered one of the top leading estimators across the country. Originally from Texas, he is married and has two children. -

Project Manager
Lisa joined Five Star Painting in 2021 with a background in Project Management. In her first year in this position, she was awarded Project Manager of the Year, chosen from all franchises across the country. -
Barbie Bumpus
Sales and Service Support
Barbie joined Five Star Painting in 2025. She has a long history of customer service and management in family businesses. She blends in well with our family-like team. She loves cooking everything from scratch, whether it be soups, baked items or a full course meal.
