Meet Your Five Star Painting of Temple Team

Will Rogers, owner of Five Star Painting of Temple, opened his location in the late summer of 2019. Prior to owning his own painting business, he spent 18 years in Healthcare Administration and 2 years in Managed Care Administration. When asked what owning his own Five Star Painting meant to him, he responded with “This opportunity gives me the chance to serve Bell County and provide its residents and businesses with superior service. Bell County, in my opinion, is a superior place to live. I've lived here almost all of my adult life. I'm thankful to have such a great place for my family to live and I'm looking forward to being a fixture in the business community.” He’s been actively involved in giving back to local charities including United Way, Body of Christ Community Clinic, and McLane’s Children’s Hospital. He also has recently begun serving as the Youth Church leader at Elm Grove Baptist Church. He has been married to his wife, Trina, for 11 wonderful years and they have a 9 year old daughter, Sarah, whom they are very proud of. Willow, their cat, is the world’s best cat… when she’s not chewing up the cords to their electrical devices! When Will isn’t working he is spending time with family, occasionally singing at his church and having fun! He loves to laugh, do great impersonations of people, watch movies, and play all things movie trivia! “Scene It is the best game ever!”

What does ‘home’ mean to you? My name is Trina Rogers. I am a Color Consultant with Five Star Painting of Temple. My husband Will started up this franchise opportunity in September 2019. I started out by assisting administratively and by helping Will find his often-misplaced laser measure. As time went on and we started finding paint coming up in our conversations more frequently than how our daughter was doing in school, I wondered what other skills I could bring to the table. I’d always had an interest in Interior Design, so after a bit of research; I found out about Audra Slinkey’s Certified Color Expert Program. I received my CCE certificate in February 2020. Throughout most of my life, I’ve moved around quite a bit. Apartments, duplexes, trailers, rent houses, and now Will and I are on our third round as homeowners; I’ve been trying to make home wherever I can. Our circumstances may continually change, especially now in such transient times but the need for home never changes. At the end of the day, we long for the security and comfort of our loved ones and our ‘spaces’. At Five Star Painting of Temple, we understand that, and we want to provide the best possible care and attention to detail your home and family deserves. In addition to helping families find their ‘Color Perfect’ homes, I love being a wife and lifetime “team-mate” to Will and a mom to our wonderful daughter; Sarah and her “sister” Willow the cat. I also enjoy reading and crafting in my free time and I have a small shop on Etsy. As a family, we enjoy travel and relaxing at home with movies and family game nights.
