Meet Your Woodbury Team

A Minnesota native, Carl grew up on a dairy farm a couple hours north of the Twin Cities. Settling in Woodbury after college with his wife and now three daughters, he has called Woodbury home for almost 25 years and loves everything about this community! He had a rewarding (and stress-filled) career in engineering and project management, helping to design and build machines for local companies like 3M, Medtronic and Polaris, as well as spending some time in operations management within the aerospace industry, focused on building large machines and systems for the likes of Boeing and NASA.

Carl started in the painting industry in 2020 when he was contemplating his next life chapter, looking to escape the corporate grind and spend more time with his family. He found that his technical background, project management experience and customer focus translated perfectly into the painting arena. Carl strives to provide each and every customer with a great experience and result by delivering outstanding quality and service. His customers love his attention to detail, eye for quality, thorough communication and passion for solving problems. He tries to find time for his favorite activities of golfing, hiking and spending time with family. Carl is also very active in his community, including coaching youth basketball and serving on various leadership roles in his church.
